A word from our CEO, Dr. Diane Francoeur

We’ve had an exciting year here at the SOGC!

We had four face-to-face meetings, new guidelines, the Board reviewed the governance and the committees, downsized our office space, created new toolkits, received grants for new research projects, raised awareness about several issues. For those of you who missed Ontario CME, here is a recap (in 90 seconds) showing how great it was to meet in person and learn with hands-on workshops: link.

The new year has already a lot in store for our members. We will be holding a symposium on Menopause in March to answer question relating to a multitude of aspects of women’s mental and physical health.

As well, we will be looking forward to our West/Central CME in Banff. We hope our members from BC and the Prairies will join us as we have an exciting program to offer. Of course other members interested in the majestic peacefulness of the Rockies are welcome!
